Places to see-

St. George, Utah has become a top year-round retreat. It offers visitors pleasant winter weather, a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment, as well as spectacular red rock scenery. Listed below are a few of the area's top attractions.

Zion National Park preserves 229 square miles of incredible scenery created by millions of years of erosion. The most-visited national park in Utah, it is also the state's most accessible park, located approximately 42 miles east of St. George. The park's most popular area, Zion Canyon, offers many enjoyable, short hiking trails and views of some of the park's most famous natural landmarks, including The Great White Throne and Angels Landing. Econolodge makes a great lodging base camp near Zion National Park to enjoy day trips and an exploration of the area's other scenic wonders.

Snow Canyon State Park, located only 10 minutes away from your Econolodge motel room, offers hiking, biking, and rock climbing opportunities in a landscape of red and white sandstone formations. Nearby volcanic cinder cones once sent lava pouring over the park's cliffs.

Nicknamed "Broadway in the Desert," the Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheater offers a full schedule of musicals every year in an incredibly scenic setting - a backdrop of towering red rock bluffs. Past productions have ranged from Beauty and the Beast to Fiddler on the Roof.
