The park’s short hiking trails, including Weeping Rock and Emerald Pools, offer visitors a chance to better appreciate the park’s diverse ecosystem and natural beauty. The only way to access this stunning showcase during the peak season is via the Zion Canyon Shuttle, which stops at major trailheads and points of interest. The shuttle bus windows treat passengers to outstanding views of the canyon’s monoliths and bus drivers provide informative narration on the ride up – interesting tidbits about the park’s history, geology and wildlife.

Even though it offers awe-inspiring scenery, Zion National Park should not be your only stop in Utah’s Color Country.
